Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy is a systemic treatment that uses a drugs to target and destroy rapidly dividing cancer cells throughout the body. It is commonly used in the treatment of breast cancer to shrink tumors, prevent cancer from spreading, and destroy any cancer cells that may remain after surgery. Chemotherapy might also used in combination with other treatments, such as surgery, radiation therapy, hormone therapy, and targeted therapy.
