Arlen serves as the Director of Scientific Affairs for Precision Biologics. He is involved in a consulting capacity, providing his renowned expertise as both senior scientific and clinical advisor for product development. He was trained as a cancer surgeon at Memorial Sloan-Kettering where he remained on staff for 20 years involved in the surgery of advanced cancer problems and the immunotherapeutic approaches to managing the patients. Dr. Arlen established the Surgical Oncology Division at North Shore University Hospital, and formed a practice group (North Shore Surgical Oncology Associates). He has written two major textbooks and published over 80 journal articles related to cancer treatment

Seung-Cheol Lee has completed his PhD from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 2001, and has completed his Post-doc at the Korea Basic Science Institute and the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Research Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvanis since 2011. His research focus is on imaging cancer metabolism in the cellular level, animal models and human patients using NMR and mass spectrometry.

Jianhua Luo has been studying Molecular Pathology related to human malignancies from the last 25 years. Currently, he is a Professor of Pathology and Director of High Throughput Genome Center at University of Pittsburgh. In the last 17 years, he has been largely focusing on the genetic and molecular mechanism of human prostate and hepatocellular carcinomas. In this period, his group has identified and characterized several genes that are related to prostate cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma, including SAPC, myopodin, CSR1, GPx3, ITGA7, MCM7, MT1h and GPC3. He has characterized several signaling pathways that play critical role in prostate cancer development. He is one of the pioneers in utilizing high throughput gene expression and genome analyses to analyze field effects in prostate cancer and liver cancer. He is also the first in using methylation array and whole genome methylation sequencing to analyze prostate cancer. His group found that patterns of copy number variants of certain specific genome loci are predictive of prostate cancer clinical outcomes, regardless tissue origin. Recently, his group discovered several novel fusion transcripts and their association with aggressive prostate cancer. One of the fusion genes called MAN2A1-FER, was found present in 6 different types of human cancers. He later defined a critical MAN2A1-FER/EGFR signaling pathway that is essential for MAN2A1-FER mediated transformation activity. In addition, his group developed a genome intervention approach to treat human cancers that are positive for fusion gene.

Currently, Dr. Luo's research interests involve identifying new tumor suppressor genes and tumor markers in several human malignancies such as prostate cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, etc. Subsequently, we will direct our effort to evaluate the prognostic values of these genes and markers in making early diagnosis of prostate cancer and serving as drug targets for cancer prevention programs.

Huihuang Yan is an assistant professor in the Division of Biomedical Statistics and Informatics, Department of Health Sciences Research at Mayo Clinic. He received his PhD from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Genetics. As part of the Mayo Clinic Center for Individualized Medicine, his research primarily focuses on cancer genomics and epigenetics and the development of algorithms for analyzing next-generation sequencing data from patients. He has published 50 peer-reviewed articles.

Michael Retsky (Ph.D in physics from University of Chicago) made a career change from physics to cancer research. He is Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Bioavailability and Bioequivalence, on staff at Harvard School of Public Health, honorary faculty at University College London, and Prof Adj at UANL, Monterrey, Mexico. He was on Judah Folkman’s staff at Harvard Medical School for 12 years. He is on the board of directors of the Colon Cancer Alliance and has published more than 60 papers in physics and cancer. He has a patent pending for treatment of early stage cancer.

Andrei L. Gartel, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and is the academic editor of PLOS ONE. He is the author of 88 peer-review publications that include more than 25 reviews. He has more than 11,000 citations and his h-index is 38. His scientific interests include cancer, regulation of oncogenic transcription factors FOXM1, protein-protein interactions; cell cycle and regulation of CDK inhibitor p21 Specifically, his lab is interested in identification of new FOXM1 inhibitors. He received his funding from NIH, DOD and private companies/foundations.

He researched EMF Resonance phenomenon between 2 identical molecules for non-invasive detection of various molecules, at Graduate Experimental Physics Dept., Columbia University, for which he received U.S. patent. He is also the creator of Bi-Digital O-Ring Test. He published over 280 original research articles, many chapters, & 9 books. Professor Omura has done extensive research on the effects of chemotherapy on the heart and brain of cancer patients since he noticed many cancer patients developed memory problems and complain of heaviness in chest or mild chest pain after chemotherapy.

Magnus S Magnusson is a Research Professor, and did his PhD in 1983 from University of Copenhagen. He is the creator of the T-system model and algorithms implemented in Theme. Focus on real-time organization of behaviour, co-directed a two-year DNA analysis project, and published numerous papers. He was invited for talks at numerous conferences (including AIMS, IFNA, Neurotalk, Proteomics) and universities in Europe, USA and Japan. He was the Deputy Director in 1983- 1988, at the Anthropology Laboratory, Museum of Natural History, Paris. He was repeatedly the invited Professor at Universities of Paris (V, VIII, XIII). Since 1991, he was the Founder and Director of the Human Behaviour Laboratory, University of Iceland. Since 1995, he was in collaboration between 24 universities based on “Magnusson’s analytical model” initiated at the Sorbonne, Paris.
